The first week of August was World Breastfeeding Week. Originally, I had hoped to offer special breastfeeding sessions during this time, but life and rainy weather caused me to delay. I may have missed the official World Breastfeeding Week, but Governor Northam recently declared August Virginia's Breastfeeding Awareness Month, so I've decided to keep celebrating and offer special sessions for those who would like to document their nursing journey.
It wasn't until my breastfeeding relationships ended with my children that I realized how truly fleeting they were. Aside from some less than flattering "selfies" of us, I don't have any breastfeeding pictures with my first born. Deep regret. I got smarter with my daughter and had a few pictures taken while nursing her as a newborn. However, our nursing journey lasted for three full years and it looked quite different throughout time (especially during the year that I tandem breastfed) and I wish I had taken more care to preserve those memories.

AUGUST BREASTFEEDING PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION SPECIAL
Save $50 on an in-home or outdoor breastfeeding documentary session. These sessions take place in the comfort of your own home or in a nearby outdoor area of your choice*. Unposed, I authentically capture the moments surrounding and during a nursing session with you and your child(ren). You will receive a minimum of 15 hand-edited, high resolution digital downloads and a print release. Session must take place in August. Contact me for session pricing. Limited availability.

BREASTFEEDING MINI PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
For those who would like to document their breastfeeding relationship without committing to a full session, join me on Sunday, August 26th along the Saunders-Monticello Trail for a twenty minute "mini" session. You will receive 3 hand-edited, high resolution digital downloads, a print release, and the option to purchase additional print images. Special session fee: $50. Limited spaces available.
